1 cup mayonnaise (I used Hellmann's)
zest of one lemon
juice of half a lemon
as many finely-snipped chives as you see fit
Mix all this together until smooth. The mayonnaise will get a bit runny and take on more of a thick-sauce consistency, which is just what you want. Drape over steamed green vegetables, fish, chicken or whatever. Rich and very tangy/lemony, so i guess you could cut back on the lemon if you are a wuss about sour flavors. *grin*
